Managing chronic pain

“I had three sessions of hypnotherapy with Caroline to help reduce my chronic pain. My first session began with a thorough consultation where Caroline took the time to understand the issues I was facing. As I am familiar with meditation and mindfulness I thought I knew what hypnosis would be like but I was very pleasantly surprised. Caroline guided me into a deeply relaxed trance like state – I felt very peaceful and even euphoric at times! After my first session I felt more alert and awake despite having a broken sleep the night before.

During my next two sessions, Caroline really focused on the key issues I was facing, and used the information I had given her in my consultation to tailor hypnotherapy to my specific needs. Caroline used a variety of techniques including visualisation, which I found very easy to imagine. After each session I noticed an improvement in my pain levels and deep sense of relaxation. overcoming insomnia

“I’ve suffered from insomnia for at least 20-25 years. We did three sessions together, and I can now have a few more hours sleep. I also find it a lot easier to go back to sleep and stay asleep now, so I really have to thank Caroline for the wonderful work that’s she’s done, and I do recommend her to anyone who is having problems with insomnia or anything else because I think the way she does it is very relaxing.
